Slower Growth Than in Previous Years

Although the net result remains positive for Aguascalientes, the figures show a deceleration in the pace of formal job creation compared to previous years.

Between January and April 2025, the state had accumulated 2,929 new jobs, while during the same period in 2024, 4,346 positions were reported.

The contrast is even greater when compared to 2023. In that year, Aguascalientes registered 5,920 formal jobs created between January and April, increasing from 344,328 to 350,248 insured workers with IMSS.

The year-over-year comparison also reflects a slower labor dynamic.
