Companies Selected to Supply Smart Meters to MIAA

These Are the Companies That Will Supply Smart Meters to MIAA
Voltajelatin S. de R.L. de C.V. and Wasion S. de R.L. de C.V. were the companies selected by the
(MIAA) for the acquisition of smart meters, according to the official notification of the Open International Public Tender MIAA-LPI-13-2026. The ruling determined that Voltajelatin secured lots 1, 4, 5, and 6, while Wasion was selected for lots 2 and 3. Both companies participated in the process to supply the equipment required by MIAA’s Planning Department.
For Voltajelatin, the award represents an amount of 86,265,784.96 pesos, including VAT. Their proposal was accepted for the four lots after demonstrating compliance with the technical specifications and the administrative and legal requirements established in the tender.
In Wasion’s case, the company secured lots 2 and 3 for an amount of 336,117.33 pesos, also including VAT. During the technical evaluation, the company demonstrated compliance with the conditions required for these two lots, although it did not meet the requirements for lots 4, 5, and 6.
The official document states that the economic proposals of both companies were within the authorized budget ceiling for the tender. Furthermore, MIAA reviewed the records of sanctioned suppliers from federal and state authorities and reported that neither company had any sanctions registered in those databases.
According to the ruling, the contracts must be formalized within a period of no more than 10 business days following notification, in accordance with the conditions established in the procedure.
