As part of the agreement, TCS has become a Global Premier Partner within the Claude Partner Network. This designation will provide TCS with early access to new AI models and enable the establishment of a specialized business unit to develop joint solutions tailored for various industries.

Furthermore, TCS will equip 50,000 employees across functions such as engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales with enterprise-grade access to Claude, as part of its internal AI adoption strategy.

The joint strategy includes the development and commercialization of AI solutions for industries including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, telecommunications, aviation, utilities, and medical technology.

“The value of enterprise AI comes from understanding business context, orchestrating complex systems, and applying deep AI engineering talent,” stated K. Krithivasan, CEO and Managing Director of TCS.

The executive added that the combination of Claude models with TCS’s expertise will enable organizations to “reach production faster, especially in industries where trust, resilience, and regulatory discipline are critical.”

Dario Amodei, Co-founder and CEO of Anthropic, highlighted that the partnership is integral to the company’s growth strategy in various markets.

“We built Claude to be safe, trustworthy, and useful, particularly in contexts where accuracy matters most,” he affirmed. He also noted that the agreement will facilitate the delivery of this technology to companies and professionals in different regions worldwide, in addition to reaching the 50,000 TCS employees who will utilize the platform.

The alliance also encompasses initiatives focused on specialized talent development. Through TCS iON, the company’s educational platform, training and certification programs for Claude models will be promoted.

“AI will be fundamental and transformative for businesses globally,” stated N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons. “By combining Anthropic’s capabilities with the scale of the Tata Group, we will accelerate business reinvention and equip India’s youth with the skills to lead in the AI era.”
