Viva Aerobus Launches Aguascalientes-Monterrey Route with Four Weekly Frequencies

Viva Aerobus has launched a new flight between Aguascalientes and Monterrey, operating with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, as reported by the state’s Secretary of Tourism.

The official noted that the new Aguascalientes-Monterrey route is part of the state’s efforts to expand air connectivity during 2026. Furthermore, he indicated that from Monterrey, passengers will be able to connect to various North American destinations through Viva Aerobus’s network. Among the cities mentioned by González are Miami, Denver, Chicago, and New York, although connection options will depend on the airline’s available itineraries.

For the Aguascalientes → Monterrey route, identified as flight VB 4245, departures will be at 3:52 PM on Mondays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the flight will depart at 3:11 PM, while on Sundays, it will take off at 10:09 AM. The scheduled arrival times in Monterrey are 5:06 PM on Mondays, 4:25 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays, and 11:23 AM on Sundays.

Separately, the complementary itinerary includes operations arriving in Aguascalientes at 3:12 PM on Mondays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, arrivals are scheduled for 2:31 PM, while on Sundays, it will be at 9:19 AM. González affirmed that with this new connection, Aguascalientes has added five new air routes during 2026. The Secretary of Tourism attributed the expansion of air connectivity to the initiatives undertaken by the State Government, led by Tere Jiménez.
