Aguascalientes International Airport recorded 811 thousand passengers between January and October 2025, according to the monthly report from Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP). This figure represents a 2.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024, positioning the terminal with positive year-to-date progress. During October 2025, the airport handled 82.1 thousand passengers, slightly surpassing the 81.8 thousand users registered in October of the previous year. This constituted a monthly variation of 0.5%, contributing to the overall growth observed in the January–October period.

The international segment also maintained year-to-date progress. From January to October 2025, the terminal reported 273.6 thousand passengers, which signified a growth of 1.7% compared to 2024. In October, international traffic reached 27.9 thousand passengers, a figure higher than the 27.0 thousand recorded in the same month of the previous year, for an increase of 3.3%.

How Does Aguascalientes Airport Compare to Other Terminals Year-to-Date 2025?

Aguascalientes’ results are contextualized within the performance of GAP’s network, which operates airports in Mexico and Jamaica. Mexicali was the terminal with the highest monthly growth, reporting a 42.5% increase in its total traffic. This was complemented by increases in Morelia, with 19.4%; Los Mochis, with 10.1%; and La Paz, which closed the period with 8.7% growth. Conversely, some terminals registered negative variations. Tijuana reported a decrease of 4.2%, while Los Cabos showed a decline of 2.1%. In Guanajuato’s case, the reduction was 5.7%. Within the international scope of the network, Montego Bay, Jamaica, reported a 17.6% decrease during the same period.
