Leslie Atilano Tapia, President of the Permanent Commission for Public Works of the H. City Council of Aguascalientes, led a meeting with representatives from the construction sector, business chambers, and professional associations to strengthen collaboration between the municipal government and the private sector. The meeting took place on Wednesday, November 12, with the aim of maintaining an open dialogue regarding the infrastructure projects currently promoted by the municipality.
Coordination Between Government and Private Sector
Participating in the discussion were Miguel Ángel Huizar Botello, Head of the Secretariat of Public Works, and Javier Buenrostro Gándara, President of the Citizen Council for the Comprehensive Water Model of Aguascalientes. Both shared progress and challenges of ongoing projects, emphasizing the need for comprehensive planning that considers resources, delivery timelines, and citizen participation. The dialogue facilitated the identification of collaboration mechanisms to enhance transparency in processes and efficiency in the execution of public works.
