The project was officially presented at an event led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, where it was highlighted that these routes address the state’s economic dynamism and the growing demand for connectivity. He emphasized that air mobility has become a strategic element for regional economic development, facilitating business, tourism, and national connections.

The established schedules are:
- Departure from San Luis Potosí: 13:00 hours
- Return from Mexico City: 16:00 hours
The approximate round-trip ticket cost will be $1,800 pesos, positioning it as a competitive option compared to other transportation methods. Furthermore, this route will also allow connections to other national and international destinations operating from AIFA.

The second announced connection will be the San Luis Potosí–Monterrey route, which will begin operations on June 30, 2026. In this instance, there will be three weekly frequencies, scheduled for the following days:
- Mondays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
Additionally, the departure time from San Luis Potosí will be 12:30 hours, maintaining an estimated round-trip cost of $1,800 pesos.
