Capgemini to Open Second Global Delivery Center in Mexico; Facility to be Located in Bajío Region

French technology firm Capgemini is set to inaugurate its second Global Delivery Center in Mexico, strategically positioning it within the economically significant Bajío region.

The French technology company Capgemini will announce on July 20th the opening of a second Global Delivery Center (

) in Mexico, which will be located in the Bajío region, according to information obtained by Líder Empresarial.

Although the company has not yet revealed the specific state that will house the new operations center, the announcement will be made during an event in Mexico City. At this event, the new director of this technological hub will also be introduced.

According to information shared by the company, Global Delivery Centers bring together specialists who develop digital solutions for Fortune 500 companies in North America. These solutions span areas such as software development, cloud services, process automation, and digital transformation.

With this expansion, Capgemini will add its second center of this kind in the country. The first was inaugurated in February 2020 in Aguascalientes, the state where the company began its operations in 2012.

To date, Capgemini has not disclosed the exact location of the new Global Delivery Center. It is anticipated that during the official announcement on July 20th, the state where it will be established, the investment amount, and the number of jobs the project will generate will be revealed.
