El Buen Fin 2025 Unveiled: What You Need to Know

El Buen Fin 2025 celebrates 15 years from Nov 13-17, targeting MXN 200B in sales with focus on responsible consumption, national products, and expanded consumer protection measures.

El Buen Fin celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025 with an edition poised to break records. From November 13 to 17, the nation’s most significant commercial program aims to exceed 200 billion pesos in sales, featuring the participation of over 200,000 establishments and a renewed focus on responsible consumption and domestic products.

During the national press conference, led by Octavio de la Torre Stéffano, President of Concanaco Servytur, it was emphasized that this edition will extend its duration to five days and strengthen the public-private collaboration that initiated the program in 2011.

“El Buen Fin originated as an effort to reactivate the economy, and today it consolidates as an exercise in unity among entrepreneurs, government, and consumers,” stated De la Torre. The businessman indicated an ambitious growth target: 15.7% more than in 2024, a year that saw a historic increase of 16.5%, despite being a shorter edition.

María Bárbara Botello Santibáñez, Head of the National Brand Plan at the Ministry of Economy, explained that the seal will enable the identification of products and services manufactured domestically. “Every product made in Mexico represents innovation, talent, and employment. We want consumers to view it as a synonym for quality and national pride,” she stated. “Our President, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, has requested us to strengthen the program and expand coordination so that El Buen Fin reaches more businesses and consumers nationwide,” she noted.

The President of Canacintra, María de Lourdes Medina Ortega, highlighted that the industrial sector is joining the program with the aim of boosting local production. “El Buen Fin allows us to reactivate productive chains, substitute imports competitively, and ensure that every peso invested in Mexico generates more employment and social welfare,” she remarked.

From a tourism perspective, the Undersecretary of Tourism, Nathalie de Plas Puel, elaborated that the event “generates a direct impact on national tourism activity.” According to Ministry estimates, the arrival of nearly two million travelers is anticipated, representing a 3.3% increase compared to 2024.

Regarding commercial oversight, the Federal Consumer Prosecutor, César Iván Escalante Ruiz, announced that Profeco will deploy an operation with over 1,100 verifiers and 165 service modules nationwide. “El Buen Fin not only represents low prices but also an opportunity to engage in thoughtful and responsible consumption,” he stated. He added that the Prosecutor’s Office “will ensure that promotions are truthful and that purchases are conducted in an environment of transparency and respect for consumer rights.

According to Concanaco Servytur, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) will also participate with the El Buen Fin 2025 Raffle, featuring a total prize pool of 500 million pesos for registered consumers and businesses.

According to the Confederation, El Buen Fin 2025 will aim to maintain its collaborative nature between the public and private sectors, with the purpose of strengthening the domestic market and consolidating itself as the primary strategy for promoting formal consumption in Mexico.
