Throughout 2025, the automotive industry concentrated Querétaro’s primary exports, achieving a sales value of approximately $4,582 million (USD) in automotive parts and accessories. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy on the Data Mexico platform, which documented the United States, Canada, and Panama as Querétaro’s main export destinations.
How Did the Automotive Industry Perform in 2025?
In Q3 2025, the automotive industry experienced a 2.42% decline compared to the previous quarter, according to Data México. Furthermore, the National Statistical Directory of Economic Units (DENUE 2025) recorded that the states with the highest number of economic units dedicated to the manufacturing of automobiles and trucks were the State of Mexico, followed by Nuevo León and Aguascalientes. However,
also constitutes an important part of the automotive industry’s economic ecosystem. According to Data México, the entity was positioned among the states whose economic activities are related to the automotive industry. Similarly, Nuevo León, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Baja California were also located in this sector.

- June 2025: $430 million (USD)
- July 2025: $407 million (USD)

- September 2025: $429 million (USD)
