Soledad Forges Partnership with City Express by Marriott: What Travelers to the Municipality Stand to Gain
Soledad boosts tourism and local economy through a new partnership with City Express by Marriott, offering preferential rates and services for visitors.
Soledad de Graciano Sánchez strengthened its tourism strategy after signing an agreement with the Hotel City Express by Marriott Zona Industrial. Under this agreement, the municipality aims to attract more visitors and, simultaneously, bolster local economic activity. According to the Municipal Government, the signing of the agreement reaffirms the confidence of an international hotel chain in the destination’s growth. Furthermore, it highlighted that this agreement is part of the public policy to promote tourism. Therefore, it also addresses the demand for accommodation for visitors and Soledad families. In turn, it enhances the service offerings for those arriving for business or events.
Direct Benefits for Those Visiting Soledad
The agreement will provide access to preferential accommodation rates throughout the year. It also includes a complimentary Hotel–Soledad–Hotel shuttle service. This benefit applies to the National Enchilada Fair, Soledad Carnival 2026, and Xantolo in Soledad. Additionally, it covers the “Talento Potosí” Artisan Fair, the Enchilada Athletic Race, and Primavera Fest. It also extends to the Wine and Enchilada Route and the Intensi Teens 2026 Cheerleading Championship.
The agreement was signed by representatives of City Express by Marriott and the Municipal Director of Tourism, Felipe Cárdenas Quibrera. In this regard, the official emphasized that this alliance will allow Soledad to be consolidated as an accessible, reliable, and attractive destination. He also noted that these actions help position the municipality on the state and national tourism map.
Functional Accommodation for Events and Visitors: How City Express by Marriott Operates
The City Express by Marriott San Luis Potosí Zona Industrial caters to both business and leisure travelers. It offers functional rooms with high-speed Wi-Fi and a work desk. Additionally, it features a meeting room, a gym, and a complimentary American breakfast. Due to its location in the Industrial Zone, it provides quick access to the San Luis Potosí Convention Center and major industrial parks. Regarding rates, the price per night ranges between 900 and 1,000 pesos, depending on the room type.
