What Does the EcoLeader Entrepreneurs Program Offer Women Entrepreneurs?
The EcoLeader Entrepreneurs Program, a Mexico-Germany initiative, strengthens women-led businesses by integrating sustainability, strategic training, and international networking.
The National Coordinating Council of Women Entrepreneurs reminds that pre-registration for the EcoLeader Entrepreneurs Program remains open for women entrepreneurs and business owners interested in strengthening their businesses with sustainability criteria. The initiative is part of an alliance between the
and the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ, within the framework of Mexico-Germany cooperation. The program is aimed at companies committed to generating environmental, social, and economic impact, through a model that integrates training, mentorship, and international networking. Its design seeks to embed sustainability as an operational component of the business, not as an isolated element. Participants gain access to a structured process that boosts business capabilities with a long-term vision. Furthermore, the program promotes connection with strategic networks that strengthen the positioning of women-led projects.
Applied Sustainability to Transform Business Models
One of the core pillars of the EcoLeader Entrepreneurs Program focuses on applied sustainability, from the classroom to the business. The approach prioritizes the incorporation of sustainable practices within the business model, aligned with growth objectives and economic viability. The program promotes the professionalization of companies through content oriented towards decision-making, strategic management, and the implementation of responsible solutions. Likewise, it encourages the development of projects with real impact on organizations and their environment. This process is supported by specialized training and continuous mentorship, allowing participants to advance in the consolidation of innovative proposals. The model considers sustainability as a transversal factor in business growth.
Gender Focus and Mexico-Germany International Cooperation
The gender focus constitutes a central pillar of the program. EcoLeader Entrepreneurs addresses real challenges in female entrepreneurship and promotes practical solutions to strengthen women’s economic leadership. Complementarily, the program integrates an international cooperation component, which facilitates access to networks and networking opportunities between Germany and Mexico. This dimension broadens the scope of projects and strengthens business communities with a global vision. Currently, the program invites interested individuals to complete their pre-registration, as a step prior to the official call for applications. Registration allows becoming part of a community of women who drive sustainable and impact-oriented businesses.
