Bosch invests $300 million in a new manufacturing plant in Nuevo León, creating over 900 jobs and reinforcing the state's role in North American supply chains.

Bosch’s $300 Million Investment and New Plant in Nuevo León

Bosch’s expansion in Nuevo León reaffirms the state’s significance as a platform for advanced manufacturing and North American supply chains. The German company has allocated $300 million to a new Bosch Home Comfort plant in Ciénega de Flores, creating over 900 jobs. During a tour of the facilities, Governor Samuel García highlighted that the project expands the state’s productive capabilities in segments related to home appliances, air conditioning, and climate control, while also opening opportunities for

. “We are very pleased that Bosch has made a $300 million investment and is providing employment for over 900 Neoloneses,” stated the governor.

Bosch Expands Industrial Capacity in Nuevo León

The new facility is part of Bosch’s broader expansion in the state, where the company already operates in industrial technology and robotics, consumer goods, and air conditioning solutions. The company has a 20-year presence in Nuevo León, during which it has engaged in manufacturing, engineering, sales, and maintenance activities. Alexander Firsching, President of Bosch Mexico, emphasized the company’s track record and anticipates a period of accelerated growth. “We have been in Monterrey for 20 years and in Mexico for 70 years. We need to recover 50 years with faster growth in the coming years,” he affirmed. The Home Comfort expansion follows Bosch’s announcement three years ago of one of its largest productive investments in Mexico, with a plant located in Salinas Victoria.

Nuevo León Government Aims to Convert Investment into Local Supply Chains

For Nuevo León, the project’s impact extends beyond direct employment. The state’s strategy aims to translate large investments into increased opportunities for local businesses, particularly through their integration into supply chains. Samuel García indicated that the state government will support Bosch’s growth and announced that the ENCLELAC 2026 Business Meeting, organized by the Home Appliance Cluster, will feature $3 billion in supply chain opportunities. “We will have a $3 billion fund for local supply chains, for companies like Bosch that trust in Nuevo León,” he stated. This approach positions local supply chains as a key mechanism to multiply the economic effect of foreign investment and enhance the participation of companies established in Nuevo León within higher-value industrial chains.

Bosch Reinforces Corporate Presence in San Pedro

In parallel with the plant inauguration, Bosch Mexico opened new corporate offices in San Pedro Garza García for its climate solutions division. Betsabé Rocha, Secretary of Economy for Nuevo León, noted that the continued presence of global companies like Bosch contributes to the development of specialized talent and industrial competitiveness. “Bosch is a company that strongly represents Nuevo León’s industrial ecosystem through advanced manufacturing, innovation, talent development, and long-term investment,” she highlighted. The state government reported that Nuevo León has accumulated $132 billion in investment and over 440 projects, reflecting the scale of its capital attraction strategy. Additionally, ITW announced an investment of $39 million and the creation of 550 jobs, further increasing the influx of new industrial projects into the entity. In this context, Bosch’s commitment represents more than just new manufacturing capacity; it strengthens Nuevo León’s position as a hub for production, technology, and supply for both the Mexican and North American markets.
