Electric Power Sustains Querétaro's Economy

The construction sector was the most affected during the period, while the commercialization of electric power, water, and natural gas supply, as well as manufacturing, showed growth.## Electric Power Sustains Industrial Activity in Querétaro On an annual basis and with original figures, in September 2025, the sector dedicated to the generation, transmission, distribution, and commercialization of electric power, water supply, and natural gas supply via pipelines to the final consumer, experienced notable increases in the following states:
- Guanajuato: 37.0%
- Nayarit: 29%
- Estado de México: 22.1%
- Yucatán: 21.0%
- Querétaro: 19.5%
- San Luis Potosí: 16.3% Conversely, construction saw a decline of 24.4%, and mining decreased by 12.3%. During the period, the manufacturing industry—which has the largest presence in Querétaro—recorded a 1% growth.## Industrial Activity Performance in Querétaro In September 2025, and with seasonally adjusted figures, industrial activity registered the largest increases in the states of Nayarit, Tabasco, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, and Jalisco, compared to the previous month, in real terms. Furthermore, on an annual basis, in September 2025, the states where industrial activity showed the highest increase were the following:
- Tamaulipas: 12.2%
- Aguascalientes: 5.5%
- San Luis Potosí: 5.0%
