Within the framework of the IMEF Guanajuato Economic and Financial Forum 2025, held in León, Ivon Padilla Hernández, CEO of “Tú Puedes Guanajuato” Financial and Support Services, emphasized that economic growth must translate into well-being and human development.

Representing Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, Padilla Hernández affirmed that for the Government of the People, “economic growth is not an isolated goal, but a tool to improve people’s lives”*.

“Our Governor has been clear in her vision: Guanajuato must become a national benchmark. Imagine all we can achieve if we join forces. Let us make Guanajuato a true laboratory of public financial innovation, with real impact, with a human face, and close to the people”, she stated.

Padilla reiterated that the development model promoted by the state combines a technical approach, economic intelligence, and social purpose, with policies that strengthen investment, productivity, and financial inclusion.

Citing the latest analysis from the México, ¿Cómo Vamos? economic traffic light, she highlighted that Guanajuato registered sustained annual growth of 3% in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 4.5% in the second, positioning it as the second most dynamic entity in the country.

“This demonstrates that our state public policies do generate real results. It is the fruit of the strategy of the Government of the People, the promotion of Guanajuato talent, and the fostering of added value,” she added.

The official emphasized that this development translates into more opportunities, better jobs, and higher income for families, solidifying a future of economic and social stability for the state.

She also invited the presidents of IMEF National, Gabriela Gutiérrez Mora, and IMEF Guanajuato, Isabel Mora Sánchez, to maintain active collaboration between public and private institutions:“When technical expertise and social vocation unite, results multiply”, she concluded.

The event was attended by municipal and state authorities, executive partners, and representatives from the banking sector, who shared perspectives on Mexico’s financial landscape and opportunities for the Bajío region in 2026.
