This edition is integrated into the main celebrations for the 450th anniversary of the city’s founding, strengthening León’s tourism and cultural positioning. The festivities began on January 9 with an agenda focused on family cohesion and regional and national tourism. Furthermore, the program confirms the León State Fair as a major attraction at the start of the year. The event also aligns with the celebration of the city’s 450th anniversary and the fair’s 150th anniversary.
Extensive Free Offerings as a Core Element of the León Fair 2026 Model
According to official data, 85% of activities will be free, broadening access to entertainment. Among the stellar shows, Disney Donde nacen los sueños stands out, presented for the first time in Latin America. Additionally, attendees can enjoy the Illusion On Ice – KUANTUM skating show, designed for family audiences. The 450th edition features Solareón, a monumental 12-meter-tall lion. This element is expected to be one of the most photographed attractions at the fairgrounds. It will also serve as a symbol of the celebration and a landmark for national and international visitors.
León Leads Tourist Influx in Guanajuato
From January to September, León was the most visited municipality in the state. During that period, it received 3.932 million visitors, representing an 11% annual increase. This prior performance also supports expectations for high attendance during the fair.
What is the Agenda for the León Fair 2026?
The fair offers a cultural, artistic, and entertainment agenda with multiple free-access zones. The program includes 14 free concerts, family shows, and traditional expressions. With this, León solidifies its position as a national benchmark for community, identity, and hospitality.

The Gastronomic Pavilion will allow visitors to sample traditional dishes from the state. These include huaraches, tamales, gorditas tarascas, and soy bread. Mazda Forum Showcases International Music Lineup
The Mazda Forum at the León Fair 2026 will host 14 concerts by national and international artists. Notable performances include Foo Fighters, Tiësto, and Zoé. Additionally, Los Ángeles Azules, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, Paty Cantú, DLD, and Moenia will participate.
