For years, I’ve accompanied leaders in professional evolution processes. I’ve worked in companies, institutions, and chambers that seek to improve their results. But I’ve also been there when the numbers are met and the team’s soul is lost. Because what is unseen (the emotional) is often underestimated. Until it hurts. Until fatigue becomes chronic, until turnover is unstoppable, until meaning disappears.
That’s why today I speak of an emotional revolution: not as a trend, but as an urgent necessity. A transformation from within that restores humanity to leadership and meaning to direction.
Because emotional leadership is not weakness; it is evolution. For decades, we were taught that emotions were an impediment to effective leadership. Logic, control, and flawless authority were exalted. Emotions were left out of the boardroom as if they were a threat to productivity. But life, the body, and recent crises have shown us the opposite: whoever doesn’t know how to feel, doesn’t know how to sustain.
