A key highlight of the 2026 edition is the anticipation of over 200,000 visitors between May 7 and 24. This significant influx represents an opportunity to strengthen economic revenue in Tequisquiapan, particularly in sectors related to tourism, gastronomy, commerce, and services. According to data from the Mexican Ministry of Tourism, approximately 70% of the municipality’s Gross Domestic Product is linked to tourism activities. International Art, Cheese, and Wine Festival to be Held in Iconic Downtown Venues

The 2026 edition will take place across various locations in downtown Tequisquiapan, aiming to transform the destination into a large open space for community engagement, culture, and entertainment. Key venues include Parque La Pila, Jardín Principal Miguel Hidalgo, Jardín del Arte, and Teatro del Pueblo. The official inauguration of the International Art, Cheese, and Wine Festival will take place on May 7 at Plaza Principal Miguel Hidalgo. The gastronomic component will be a central focus of the festival. This edition anticipates the participation of 31 national and international wineries, in addition to local and international cheese producers.
