Uber Advertising announced the appointment of Federico Carranza Kopper as Head of Sales for Latin America, based in Mexico City. This decision reflects the company’s interest in consolidating its presence in a key region for its global expansion.
The announcement was made on November 5, amidst sustained growth in Uber’s advertising division, which already exceeds an annualized revenue run rate of $1.5 billion globally.
Carranza’s appointment reinforces Uber Advertising’s commitment to Latin America as a growth engine. The company seeks to leverage its digital ecosystem to connect brands with 180 million monthly active users.
According to Megan Ramm, Global Head of Sales at Uber Advertising, Carranza’s leadership will enable the advertising business to scale through strategic partnerships and high-impact solutions for local and international brands.
Uber Advertising offers customized communication formats within the application, including Sponsored Listings and Post-Check Out ads, which appear at key moments in the user experience.
Uber’s advertising division integrates over five user touchpoints per month, across rides and deliveries, allowing brands to reach consumers at decisive stages of their digital journey.
Carranza expressed his enthusiasm for joining the team and leading a new phase of growth in the region. He emphasized that Uber holds a unique position to connect brands with millions of consumers in a relevant, responsible, and measurable way.
